Nice deal from TAS....

Auction

Yes, that's an HP-15C in the corner. Turned out to be nearly flawless and perfectly functioning!

Michael,

Nice catch. Congraduations.

A couple of years ago, I bought a package of HP calculators for a fixed price. The person found one more calculator right before he mailed the package, so he just threw it into the shipping box. Turned out to be a very good condition HP-15C.

I congratulate you on your TAS search skills. Clearly a case of a poorly worded listing, which worked to your advantage. Only 2 other bidders and a 3 day auction, which was seen by few bidders.

I officially hate you.

Congratulations on your purchase. If you happen to find another one at that price, PM me.

The seller probably wasn't familiar with RPN and thought the 15c was broken. ;-)
