Will the HP 67 read HP 65 magnetic cards without any user alterations being required? Thanks,

The magnetic properties of both cards are compatible.

HP65 coded cards canNOT be read by an HP67. The program codes (ane perhaps the writing methods) are NOT compatible.

No.
In the '65 the instructions are coded on 6 bit, on the '67 on 8 bit.

The magnetic cards (phisically) are the same!
