Does anyone have any documentation for the ILXA ROM? Please let me know.
Thanks, Jeff

Yes, I may have some info about that ROM, since I compiled it;-)
The base was the Extended IL, enriched with some functions of the Extended I/O ,
and two custom functions for XMem <-> IL mass storage forth and back transfer.
However I strongly suggest getting and using the Extended IL+ ROM (CK1C) published by Christoph Klug,
which is basd on the ILXA, and which contains nearly the same base IL functions, but some more functions covering a wider range of topics.

Thanks for the reply Raymond. Do you have a pdf of that document or some kind of QRG? Where can I get a copy of the ROM (CK1C) published by Christoph Klug
Let me know,
Jeff

If it isn't on TOS, it isn't included. The closest I can find right now is the "SKWID EXT-IL", but I don't think that's what you're talking about.

EXT-IL+ is not free. You have to purchase it from Christoph.

Ah, I thought the book had a cost but the ROM was distributed no charge.

I have seen this discussed here before. The Squid Ext. IL. Is this the same as the ILXA?

Is the ROM image available somewhere (TOS?) or is this the "last commercially sold item" perhaps?

I uploaded the ILXA to TOS a few years ago.
The Ext IL+ however, is distributed by Christoph as part of his valuable book (IL 2000 Interface System / I/O board),
which every serious HP-41 fan should have.
The book is sold commercially, not the ROM, which is a giveaway accompanying the book, and the book is worth every cent.

I bought the IL2000 book some years back and the ROM was not included at that point. Maybe it has changed.

Dear HP-41 enthusiasts,
nice to detect your interest about the EXT-IL-PLUS ROM. As Raymond describes correctly - this ROM is a free of cost giveaway for my two books printed in one voluminous book = "HP-41 Input Output Board" & "IL2000 Interface System".
This reference book for today HP-41 enthusiasts describes mass storage-, data logger-, measurement-, interface- and control- applications beside working with different RAM-Box solutions and ROM Image Files.
The details and software example routines about the EXT-IL-PLUS ROM you find in an own chapter: This ROM includes features from the well known EXT-IL-ROM plus additional Autostart&DUP features, plus advanced functions for working with RAM Box solutions, and some more missing functions...
In Germany you get the book by ebay or from your local book shop. For interested readers in the whole world I offer a special transfer solution to their home address.
With best regards - Christoph Klug

But your book is sold at eBay in German language. Is there a version in English (German language I do not know at all) ?
If yes, ready to buy right now.

Can you send the book to Russia?
If yes, how to send you money for a book?

My fault. I *thought* I did it, but I just looked, and didn't see it either. Hmmm... Maybe I should give it another try next weekend...
however as I indicated before, the ILXA is outdated. The Ext IL+ offers *much* more in the same 4K package.

I hope you do Raymond. It's perhaps "outdated" but definitely not lacking value!
Besides it's always a good attribute to be open to the community, as opposed to a commercial item - at least that's what I think.
Cheers,
ÁM
