looping or something like that

how do you get the hp to run 2 programs at the same time from the same variable and get 2 different answer.... i know this is possible,,, but just don't know how to do it..

which calculator? Forgive-me if I am wrong, but I don't know any available model that can run more than one program at the same time. Is the HP49 able to do it?

This is something I would like to know, too.

the T I has the ability to run 2 programs at once by using the goto arrow instead of the equal sign,,,, i am hoping that the hp has the same ability

I don't think any HP calc can run two programs at the same time. I think it would need a multi-tasking OS. If they were to share data, you'd need some sort of semaphore mechanism to resolve concurrency conflicts.

Or did you mean that you can store more than one program and choose which to run? Perhaps storing multiple programs in one program and jumping in a certain point to simulate multiple programs? That's possible on most. Each program can share global data via registers or named variables. More modern HP RPL calcs can define data local to a procedure or program, too.
