So, reading the thread below about the 200LX and memory cards I decided to look at what compact flash card I had in my 200LX; removed it, looked at it; replaced it; turned it on and it locked up at the C: prompt.

None of the keys were functional. Took out and replaced a battery, and a horizontal line appeared in the middle of my screen. Now, nothing........

Did my 200LX just cease to exist anymore? Sad day if it did.

Panic averted. I left both sets of batteries out for half an hour, and life was restored. All is good. ;)
