HP30b

Hi,

I must confess it's been a long time since last time I visited this site, though I set it as my starting page; it's because I've recently being involved in projects not related to calculators, and this set aside my mind.

I recently read on this Forum about the "new" HP30b; it seems to be a very good calculators, the most scientific among the financial ones, and thus useful for both worlds.

What puzzles me is that no reference of it is present on the Italian, French, Uk, Spanish, Russian (and maybe other countries) HP site still today.

Questions:

1. Is it a USA-only calculator?

2. Do you know when (the date) it has been issued for the first time?

Forgive me for these (quite stupid and) useless questions, but since I planned to buy one, I'd avoid the overprice of the transoceanic delivery...

1. No. It's also available in Germany, for example.

The HP30b is on sale in Malaysia. You can't use the HP website as a guide as to what is available.

For example, the PDF manual for the 30b is not there. I had some members sent me the softcopy.
