number of calculators built of each model

#2

Good morning,

Is there any way of knowing how many calculators were produced of each HP model? I am interested, in particular, on the Voyager series.

The serial numbers on the back just tell how many were built each week, in each location - hard work!

Hi;

I tried Craig Finseth´s Data Base and, although it has a 'Production-run' placeholder for for each entry, I found just a few with some numbers on it (e.g.: HP12C that is in the case of millions, or the HP41 that ran about about 1.5 millions for all types).

Cheers.

Even HP probably no longer has that information about most models.
