200LX date format in filer - What determines it's format?

#2

I have two 200LX 2MB, ROM 1.02a (05/24/94) in front of me - both US International units (Brazil ... - ... USA). Both setups identical in Time & Int'l settings. Date & Time setup to "DD.MM.YY" and "HH:MM:SS" respectively.

DOS boot shows Date & Time in US format. Both D drives (200LX firmware) compare equal in file size & date stamps.

Now the question: Why does one unit (SG53 ...) display the date in filer as in above European format, BUT the other unit (SG70 ...) does display it in US format "MM-DD-YY"???

Best regards
