HP-35 tribute

#4

Nice article, and a very nice tribute.

My cousin, as a young Air Force Cadet majoring in mathematics, bought a brand new HP35 from the Cadet Bookstore in 1973 for the discounted price of $295. I can just imagine him taking it out of the box and marveling at it's capabilities. About 2 years ago, when he heard I collected HP calcs, he dug out that old HP35 and sent it to me. Needless to say, I was most grateful to add it to my collection.

Right now it's on display at my son's school, where I rotate my collection through.

Best regards, Hal
