Hi, folks
I know its a bit out of topic, but folks are folks right?
As a structural engineer, I deal with many types and source of data, that I have to carry with me when I go to work field for checking drawings and constructions.
I usually carry with me:
A digital camera (550 g), a HP 41CV(260 g), a swiss army knife(190 g),a PocketPC E-125 (325 g), a celular (200 g), pen wallet with scalers (80 g), keys (85 g), a GPS (300 g), a paper diary (450 g) and an eletronic measuring device(180 g)
All of this weights more than 2.50 kg and not to mention the clothes, glasses, wrist clock, safety hardhat and toe boots. My wife sometimes says that I look like a desert storm soldier when I go out for building inspections. But who isn't a soldier(some way) on these days? ;)
I know it weights less than my retired toshiba notebook that cannot take pictures, show me my global position, measure or let me talk at phone , but I would like to size down these weights.
Any suggestions? A friend told me for changing all these devices for a small block of notes and a pencil and go back to flinstones days. ;)
Is there anyone with this problem?
Thanks for your attention,
Marx Pio
