i41CX MOD loading question

Post: #2

Anybody knows where can I upload some of my own .MOD images so that iPod Touch can download them into i41cx. According to AL a free web server that provides directory listings is the only way to get them into the iPod. Well, I don't have nor want to make one but would like to have some more ROM modules than what is available on TOS.

Also has anybody tried HEPAX on i41CX ?

I can set you up an account on my Linux server. You would just need to scp them to your personal web directory. I've done this for others. Let me know.

Yes, and no its not going to work, but it could someday. More info here: http://www.hpmuseum.org/cgi-sys/cgiwrap/hpmuseum/archv018.cgi?read=141681

Nice of you to offer, I have sent you an email. Too bad for HEPAX but it has always been a tough nut, even with NoVRAM and MLDL2000. Even without the RAM support it has some nice features so I want to try it on iPod but on Meindert's site I can't locate any HEPAX MODs. I have the standard ROMs but would like the ones forced into odd page.

Point i41CX+ to this URL: http://sense.net/~egan/41mod/.

This simple trick works for me, on Linux, Windows + cygwin and MacOS:

open a terminal, go to the directory where you have the .MOD files and type:

python -m SimpleHTTPServer

Then, direct i41CX to http://<yourmachine>:8000

Thanks Alain, that worked well for me too. However, thanks to Evan I can have my directory at large too. Thanks Evan.
