HP test equip

I post knowing this outside the usual range of this forum but...
I am thinking of buying an HP/Agilent 54720D o-scope and was hoping for a link and/or discussion of this piece of gear.

There is a newsgroup, sci.electronics.equipment. I'm not a regular participant, but it looks like what you are talking about.

I have used HP and Tektronix oscilloscopes for MANY years and I have always preferred the Tektronix units. HP has never seemed to master the art of sweep triggering as well as Tek. I do prefer HP logic analyzers though.
