Mine didn't include the traditional stick on name plate, though there clearly is a space for one on the back. Was there supposed to be one?

Name plate? I own a few old HPs and none ever came with a name plate, starting with my old 34C.

You must have a 48GX: they came with plates. Most HP calculators did not--though I don't know which ones other than the 48GX did. ▼
