HP 100LX

I've recently been lucky enough to have been given an HP 100LX in good condition, and after replacing all the batteries it seems to work nicely.

Question is what to do with it...

I have never owned a PDA before and am not a big fan of Lotus 1-2-3. There is a built in RPN calculator, but unfortunately I don't think is is programmable.

Initially I thought about installing Quick C, Quick PASCAL, or even Quick BASIC but as it only has a 1MB memory card I think this is going to be too small. I did try a 64MB CF card, in PCMCIA adapter, it is not recognized - too big?

The 100LX has the same available memory as any other MS-DOS system - 640kb less overhead.

You are right - the RPN capable HPCALC ist not programmable in RPN - BUT it does contain the SOLVER routines.
