Hi,
I have to admit that the IL/X is more Extended-IL than Extended-IO centric currently,
because I didn't need the lower level control functions for a long time.
The IL/X contains the following functions:
WRTD, DIRLEFT, DIRSIZE, NAMEMED, READBUF, READCAL, READXM,
RECLEFT, SCOPYFL, SCREATE, SDIR, SNEWM, SWRTA, SWRTK, SWRTP, SWRTPV, SWRTS,
WRTBUFX, WRTCAL, WRTXM,
CODE, DCD, MCLIST, MCPRP, READD, SAVEROM, GETROM
As you know, the Extended IL functions can operate on larger IL media,
like floppies for the 9114 drive, and make use of the whole media capacity.
I'll check if I have room for the SORTFL function.
But to include SORTFL, another function has to be omitted,
preferably CODE and/or DCD.
This is because there's offset-dependent code incl. jump tables,
which directly follows the FAT, so the FAT can't be expanded unfortunately.
The WRTD and READD functions are very nice:
They apply to X-Memory data files, and write to resp. read from
HP-IL mass storage, without using the HP-41 main memory.
