Maybe it's not the place...

... and not the moment, but I would like to know about all of you who post messages here.

Everybody there?

Is there anything we, foreigners, can do to help?

Forgive-me using this space this way, I could not think of anything better.

thank you for your kind letter.

It's not the place, I know, but I equally want to voice my deep sadness for that crime against the American People. We stay near You with all our love!

There are no words to define this horrible event.

In no way innocent people have to pay the price of hate. The world will never be the same now.

All our deep regrets and support to the families of the victims.

Just to say we are inmensely sad about this event, which could not be understood, much less accepted, by any person without a very sick and criminal hate to other human beings.

Never the violence against innocent people may be used as a manner of expression of any ideas or positions, whichever them are. And certainly it is not the way to improve any relation or situation, whichever it may be.

Let us say a prayer for the victims, may their families have some comfort from friends and the feelings of the goodwilling people in most places of the world.

I apologize if this is not the proper place to post this words, and please disregard any idiomatic mistake.

Thank you.

What can one say to describe the greatest tragedy in the history of our country?

I can only hope that 11 September 2001 unites the free world to eradicate terrorism. Hopefully this date will live in infamy for the entire world, not just America.

The world lost millions of souls in World War II, but at least it was a war. At least the attack on Pearl Harbor limited civilian deaths. At least war was in the air. Yesterday's attack was not just wrong, it was unspeakably evil.

The sleeping giant has been re-awakened, and he is once again filled with a terrible resolve. Our country will pull together. I'm sure I speak for everyone in the US when I say that we are thankful for your kind thoughts and concern from abroad.

Of course strictly it's not the place, but at a time like this, nobody is going to care!
Words cannot properly describe my feelings after seeing these events on the TV news. My thoughts are with all those who have lost (or had injured) friends, family or loved ones by these terrible happenings.

Everywhere's the place to stand up and show protest against such a mass murder.
I was shocked when I saw the pictures on TV.
My thoughts go also to the firemen and policemen who died while trying to rescue more people from the burning buildings.

The Austrian government announced a nationwide minute of silence for the victims today (Sep, 13) at 10 a.m.

And thank you - and everyone.

Dear Friends,

My prayers are for all the families affected in this senseless terrorist act.

My feelings are confused, hate, angry and perplexity.

God Bless you
