unique new calculator wristwatch...

An interesting calculator wristwatch for shooters... no keypad. Allows for ballistic/sighting calculations.

Too bad it doesn't have a synth. sapphire face and nice matching quality metal band.

Nevertheless, it's cool, I'm gonna get one...

What a pity that they don't allow us to own artillery guns, mortars or rocket launchers here in Old Europe. And without one of those, this watch is quite useless, I guess? But maybe, it can also be useful for computing the trajectories of Ti-calculators when one throws them out of the window :-)

HP 01 does have the same capabilities... That what I want!

The wild boar (or whatever) will have killed you while you are still putting in all the necessary data to find out why your first shot missed. Shall we call it an environment-friendly watch therefore? d:-)

I'm not a hunter, just a target shooter, hoping to get some more longer-range time in soon.

It would be nice to readily know what my scope reticle marks indicate when I change loadings (bullet weight/velocity, etc.)

Beside, another watch with buttons & dials & frou-frou will keep me occupied at over-long meetings :)

Bill,

I took off work and shot a Palma Match on Firday, and a couple of 1,000-yard matches on Saturday. This is interesting as it looks like you can program in your ballistic coeficient, velocity, sight height, elevation, etc. and have everything set for a no-wind condition. Get on the line and key in the wind and directly get clicks of wind, without any charts, mental math, etc. Now all we need is for it to record the point of impact for later download and records.

But me thinks the cost is too high and I will have to stick with the Sierra Infinity Program and pre-calc what I need before I get there.

There may be some similarities in my life with the movie (like being in certain places at certain times when unique events take place) but I certainly can't run that fast. But then again - I can shoot fairly well! ;)

You are only the second person in my lifetime to quote that to me.
