Hi Patrick, The main differences that grab my attention are: 1) Support of Matrix operations that use memory or X-Memory, bringing the HP41 somewhat to par with the HP15C's matrix operations. 2) MCODE implementations of SOLVE and INTEGRATE (like those in the HP15C). The MCODE executes very fast since its machine code and not HP41C RPN commands. They are other features that are different. The two modules do share some common routines. The Advantage module is certainly worth having. Namir ▼

... the Advantage is a 12KROM module (uses 3 pages) while the Math ROM is a 4K, single-page module. My 2¢. Luiz (Brazil)

I agree that the Advantage Pac is a good find, but I didn't realize it at the time. I already own a 41CV, have for years, and just recently got it repaired. I placed a bid on a CX and forgot about it, expecting it to get sniped. I guess the eBay climate was in my favour that week--I got the CX for well under $300, with all manuals (no box though). The unexpected bonus was the Advantage Pac module included, which I didn't pay much attention in the original ad. At first I thought the Math Pac and Advantage Pac had a lot of overlap, but I learned soon that there was less than I thought. The Matrix routines and Integrators are very different, as has been pointed out, among other things. I don't know if you have the MoHPC DVD, but the Advantage Pac manual in the introduction briefly discusses overlap issues wiht Math Pac and, I think, Real Estate Pac. Best, Les
