Yeah, right. For my two cents worth, the manual may be new but the 11C pictured has certainly been used. The wear on the foot pads tells the true story - it has been out of the box lots of times. Sure, it's in nice shape but (IMO) it ain't *new*. The battery door also shows some wear.
I'd also be willing to bet some money the slip case was liberated from a recent 12C. It does not have the correct shape or finish for a case made in the eighties.
Oh, yeah, one more thing. That manual didn't ship with a 1983 calculator - it has a glued spine, not the correct spiral wire.
In my opinion: pieces put together to make it look like something it isn't.
