Thanks to the Christmas Holidays I have had time to work again on the MLDL2000 project (I do have a real job and family).
Due to space issues in the CPLD I have simplified the memory map and removed some I/O features. The updated specifications are now at version 1.1 and can be downloaded from www.kuipers.to/hp41. I have tested some of the I/O already and I can succesfully write and read bytes from MLDL SRAM through the USB interface, but I still have to hook up the 41C to the new MLDL2000. More tests to be done and software (on the PC) to be written in the coming days.
I expect to be starting on the PCB layout within a few weeks now, that will have priority. After that the beta testing will start, and I will work on the additional features, like supporting HEPAX, finishing the PC software for managing ROM images and other ideas that I have.
Do not hesitate to contact me should you have any questions.
Have a good and healthy 2004!
