While working on a program for private pilot navigation: which has one vector of known magnitude and direction and two others (one with a known direction and the other with a known magnitude), I got "error 3" when I tried to STO in registers 8 and 9 only. I have safely put the manual away (where I cant find it) and wonder what "error 3" means and if there is a way of overcoming it.
The problem is to find the missing direction and magnitude to make the vectors close the triangle.
