HP12c Anniversary Seft Test

#2

Could someone explain why the self test for the HP12c 25th Anniversary Edition and the 12c Platinum takes as long as it does? It seems that these self tests run for minutes as compared to the almost instantaeneous result I get on the HP15C LE model.

Is this something to be concerned with?

Thanks,

Nick

The 12C Platinum and the 25th Anniversary Edition use a *much* slower processor than the 15C LE.

Seeing as there are some serious battery-life concerns with the HP-15C LE, I'd consider the slower processor a boon.
