17IIB – an excellent calculator for everyday work - unfortunatelly does not have trigonometry functions. It is easy to implement series expansions for SIN and COS in the HP solver. Of course TAN can be calculated from SIN/COS. It would, be more elegant to have a series expansion for TAN too, since it would allow to calculate the ARCTAN directly.
The series expansion for TAN appears to be not so practical for a pocket calcs, since it requires the implementation of Bernoulli Numbers. Anybody knows a simpler way?
Thanks
