HP-28S/Clamshell Keyboard Test

#3

I have tried this test on several calmshells I own. I can't get any of them to pass this test. I start at "A". Is this right? It seems odd that 5 of these all flunk, but seem to work fine.

try invoking the keyboard test as follows:

turn on calculator:

while pressing the 'on' key, press and release the 'next' key. then release the 'on' key. you will get the promptm "keyboard test".

now, as before, start at the left keyboard starting with 'a' and press each key left to right descending one row at a time until the left keyboard is complete. move to the right keyboard and repeat starting with the upper right assignable key.

Cheers, Geoff
