Collectors Database Software
#1

Hi

I would like to know, how you archive your collections in a database. Do you use a special software or do you use a Access scrip as me? I would like to share ideas and tipps.

Hello!

As a Macintosh fan I use selfmade AppleWorks databases (previously "FileMaker" which has been merged with AppleWorks some time ago) for everything that I collect or archive. Apart from photographs, for which I use a special cataloging programme called iView Media Pro.

Greetings, Max

The "database" built in the HP200LX is sufficient, at least to keep my collection with less than 5000 items. Else try Lotus Agenda. I know one IT pro using it for serious work: "it is unparalleled 'till today".

Ciao.....Mike
