12c, please help. when it's made?

I have a 12c which comes from brazil (sn 2901b15369).
Does anyone know during which period these ones were in production?
Do they value more than the ones made in china?

The calc was made in 1989 (for these serial numbers, add the first two digits to 1960 to obtain the year of manufacture).

I can't tell you Brazil's period of production, but the ones made in the USA, Singapore, and Brazil are of better quality than the later-production calc's made in Malaysia, Indonesia, and China.
