I hesitate to ask this question, but since I am not offering anything for sale, here goes. If I should post it in the classifieds let me know.
Theoretically, if I found several original battery contacts for the 41C series, what are they worth ? Let's say that most are new and a couple look very lightly used.
My question is, someone has asked what I might want for one. (Theirs are shot, like mine was, er, is.) I have no idea, and checked EBay for comparison but did not find anything there.
I thought I would ask here. If someone knows or has a way to find out, please post.

Hi Ivan.
One can repair the contacts using conductive pcb repair pen.
This is metallic silver in a volatile solvent. he pens are about $A30 but one can patch up a machine pretty easily this way.
There other ways you can do the repair also of course.

I have seen replacement contacts sell for more than you can buy a replacement calculator for... go figure. Real price should be around $30.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5821551951 just for comparison. I've seen them go as high as $60.00 in new condition.

I have seen some blithering idiots pay over $125... A fair price based upon what a parts calculator sells seems to me to be around $30. That was what Iqbal was selling them for before somebody bought all that he had and then tried to resell them for $100+
