Re-recording of clocking signal on HP75 cards
#1

I was completely unsuccessful in reading cards on the HP75.
Do you have tips regarding this (speed of pulling wrong maybe) ?
Another question, may the clocking signal present on these cards vanish with time, rendering them unusable ?
And if so, how would you re-record the clocking signal ?

Regards - the forum keeps on being interesting (thanks for the CD-ROMs too).

What error messages are you seeing, if any. Normally, the reading and writing routines will display an error message indicating that the pull speed was too fast or too slow. How many different cards did you try? Perhaps you need to clean your card reader. I do not know the format of the timing marks or how to record them.
