broken screen
#1

The new HP 49g+ has a design problem with the carring case. If the screen is facing the medal snap, pressure could cause the screen to break. I would like to know if there were anyone else that had this problem. Maybe a new medal carring case would fix the problem.

Lawrence, this may sound like a stupid reply, but I am serious. I noticed that too, so when I remove my 49G+ from its case, since I'm righthanded, I use my right to hold the case while my left hand pulls the calculator out. If you do it this way, the back of the left hand keeps the flap with the metal button from touching the calculator while it is being taken out.
