HP-75 Flashing dashes and then goes off

My HP-75 still wont go on, it seems to be some sort of power problem which i have no idea how to fix. Somone PLEASE help me. When I push ATTN the screen just flashes a bunch of dashes, i tried both AC power supply and batteries, neither work. -Adam
