I programmed my HP 42S. Then I ran a program [very long 450+ lines]. Then it gives me wrong answers, in fact the calculator doesn't even stop for the last prompt. I ran this program no less than five times looking through the program after each answer. No typos in the program listing. Then without making any changes to the program it starts to work, and give accurate results. Is this possible?
Am I going nuts???

Hi; Based on Erik's clever question, I'd add this one: the program itself, doesn't it wrongly change any flag? I'd like to have a look at it; can't you cpollect it through an HP48 and send me the listing? I'd gladly try to find what's going on. Do you have any HP48 (G/G+/GX/S/SX) with INPRT program? Or even an image of the program listing? If you want to give it a try, be my guest. Luiz C. Vieira - Brazil |
