48gx buying info - questions
#1

Hey folks, yet another question. I am going to purchase a 48gx soon and I need some advice...

Is there a difference in quality and manuals supplied between the 48gx in the box and the 48gx in the bubble pack (for a lack of a better term)?

Thanks.

Joe

PS...why the heck does the U.S. get stuck with the bubble packaging (on many different products) while others throughout the world have their electronics packaged in standard boxes? Just curious.

Thanks.

I have purchased both versions and they are of the same quality. The manuals in mine are identical. The most recent ones in the "bubble pack" have the screen that displays black characters instead of the older bluish color. I like the black version as the contast seems to be better.
