Equation Library/App for the Prime
#1

I have asked this question before, but got no reply. Is there going to be an equation Library APP for the Prime, similar to the 48 49 and 50 calculators, in the next iteration of the Prime OS?
HP has been touting the Prime as the greatest thing since sliced bread for education; where are the other slices?
If this calculator is supposed to be aimed at math and science students/teachers of many kinds this type of app would seem to be most appropriate.
Of course Engineers do not always seem to think like"real" people do.
Dr. McCoy always said "Engineers like to change things".

I think it's safest to assume that what you buy is what you've got. There's no guarantee that there will be anything more released for the Prime, even an update.

Those who know for sure are not in a position to talk about it. They can't be making promises they can't keep. Projects get canceled all the time.

Everyone else would just be guessing.

My guess would be: it depends on sales. Are they backordered? Are dealers running low on stock?

It's hard to justify the importance of an equation libary solely based on Prime's pedagogical intent. As you see, Prime's TI and Casio counterparts, the TI-Nspire CX CAS and ClassPad II fx-CP400, also don't have any equation libary.

My guess is that HP doesn't want to get the HP-50g replaced as it did for the HP-28C and any successor up to the HP-49g+. Therefore, features such as the RPL, low-level programming, beeper and equation library only exist in the HP-50g, not Prime.

sorry for my bad English

this type of program (Equation Library) is not difficult to program, in the future I can programmed 100% HP-Prime BASIC

GUI+ more Equation Library in 100% USER-RPL

http://www.hpcalc.org/details.php?id=7282

I leave the project in the HP50 because the user-rpn is too slow, but the basic of the hp-prime is possible
