Will folks be bidding on HP-Primes on e-Bay 30 years from now? Hmmm...

In 30 years, will there be something to replace epay? Or at least competition so the ebay/paypal momopoly will be fourced to function well?

Damn tootin, convert to a CL, simply a PCA board swap.. Let alone attempting to fix it. Really, this is the perfect candidate for a Monte board. Also examine the screw posts attached to the keyboard, if good, a perfect donor for a buggy (due to posts example). Good rear shell. Excellent display panel and probably working drivers. Is the battery/module connector corroded? If not a perfect donor, zebra strips or coiled strop PCA to keyboard connectors, the list goes on... DO NOT JUNK! Geoff

Quote: Too late it's in the bin ...... ......... only joking !! Actually that makes good sense , I've heard of the CL , not sure what a buggy is ? or why the posts would affect things ? Funds are low right now , but it will NOT be scrapped !! that I can assure you of :) I actually asked him about the battery terminals post sale and he described battery terminal condition at 95%, they looked pretty good, although I did notice stains on the plastic sheet in the bottom of the battery compartment which didn't bode well, I may well rip it to bits tomorrow and see what's what

Grrrr - it's a half nut :-( I may still rip it to bits to see what the cause of its deaded-ness is

Whoa nelly! i meant buggy other example. Also, a halfnut 41CV is not that common. Take it easy on the rip apart! ;-)
