Prime incase anybody missed the clock

If you tap on the clock in the title bar it displays a window with time/date and battery level, kinda kool since the battery symbol is so small, I missed this in the manual

No, you didn't. The manual writer missed it. :-)

You can also toggle your angle setting by clicking on it, and in the future there will probably be some other nice things tucked in there.

But that's the real problem here. There are a lot of things that are missing from the manual. For example, there is no discussion of complex number forms or the shift X key to toggle them. But for the fact that you responded to my post on polar<>rectangular coordinate conversions, I would never have known about this. Also, the help key doesn't cover many topics. There should be a page in the User Guide that explains every single keyboard legend. I hope some third party technical writer publishes a really comprehensive printed manual for this very powerful calculator. I'd be willing to pay for it.

The information is not in the first revision true, but the information about the angle key is already in your calculator. Click HELP, "Keys" on the menu, then it prompts you to click the key you want help on, and then the key.

The on-calc help is extensive, and will always be the most up to date.

Thanks, Tim. I appreciate all your help and understand your real world conundrum. Still, I think you are asking new and unfamiliar customers to do a lot of hunting for answers. For example, in order to figure this problem out on my own I would need to discover the key by looking at the help for all the keys, and then remembering that this particular key pertains to complex number coordinate mode, since the same angle symbol is used to indicate angular mode (deg, rads) as well. Also, the help screen does not discuss its own soft keys.

It is like the 71B, two manuals, one with basic programming and intialization routines and chapters. This REALLY got you started.

The second volume with nothing but each Command with an in depth explanation and syntax attached, and with examples.

Pick up volume one for a program and look up the commands in volume two.

Or just by Joe's book.
