Hi all, I remember some time ago this was discussed on this forum, but i've found a great example of a worn out but fully functional HP-15C HERE !!
It still works fine, although some of the keys take a bit of pressing. The back plate has gone, as have most of the rubber feet. The battery compartment was heavily corroded, so I had to remove the green residue to get it to power up.
The worst condition 15C?

An eBay description might just say something like "minor scratches and some signs of use".

Or just as likely, NEAR MINT (no returns).

An image of an original mint condition 1982 15C, compared to this worn out version and a new 15CLE is HERE

Wear on voyager calculators is like the brassing on Leica M cameras, they just keep going no matter how battle-scarred they appear.

I like that correlation Nick!

What really impresses me is that the key caps do not look worn out at all. I can not remember a modern keyboard of that quality!

That's the difference between double shot and print. d:-) |
