Hi,
I just thought I'd put in a plug for the upcoming HHC2013 HP Calculator Conference to be held on September 21st-22nd at HP's facility in Fort Collins, Colorado. We just had our 50th registration and it's a sure thing that the conference weekend will be lively, entertaining and educational. We've been holding these events since 1979 when the HP41C was king of the hill and they've all been great. If you are on the fence or want more information, check it all out at http://hhuc.us/2013/ on the web. You won't regret it.
See you in September,
Jake Schwartz

Nevertheless, it's still taking place in a universe far, far away.

Of course, Walter... nothing prevents you from doing a parallel conference across the pond at the same time!
Conference at Walter's house! Who is coming?

Last year I missed HHC2012 and it was within driving distance. This year I vowed I would not miss HHC2013 and I have secured my flights and hotel. I'm really looking forward to my FIRST HHC!

I am glad to read in the list of attendees that Geof Quickfall is attending. I really enjoy his company and his pilot stories!!
The fellowship and camaraderie at any HHC is awesome!! Pure geek fest!

Patrice,
this year I'll be travelling to the Yellowstone NP with my son before the conference. How was your visit there last year? I hope you really enjoyed it as we hopefully will do this year.
Looking forward to the conference,
Günter

Very nice, hope you have time for more than Yellow stone. More to the south, you have Paria Canyon and Antelope Canyon, it is a bout walking in Windows 7 wallpapers :)
If you are interested in places where nature is unique, there is a lot of places to see (too many).

Not exactly as planned, but still interesting.

We'll be there on Friday afternoon, after travelling 10 days from SLC through Yellowstone NP, South Dakota and Nebraska - looking forward to the crowd's dinner. Guess they'll have some kind of Weizenbier, "Indian Blue (?)".
Wasn't it Eric Rechlin who asked if people were interested in visiting a Belgian brewery nearby? Belgians have also a nice, very similar beer, called blanche, e.g. "Hoegaarden blanche". That is my favourite Belgian beer during my frequent visits to Belgium.
Prost, Guenter :-)

Well, we're going to spend about 4 days in the YNP- area. My son is busy in preparing the most interesting car tours <grin> and some nice hikes <sigh>. Anyway we'll have a great time there.
See you,
Günter
