[HP-prime] Parallel Processing, vectors, matrices as a only data type =(
#1

sorry for my bad English, google translator

1: Parallel processing between lists of different dimensions, so that?

Reasons that use is into the learning and teaching of mathematics or programming?

2: to use the brackets as lists, if there is already a specialized data type with {}?

([[a1,a2,a3],[b1,b2,b3],[3,4,]])^3 == ({{a1,a2,a3},{b1,b2,b3},{3,4}})^3

the logical thing is to separate data types [] for vectors and matrices, and true lists {} to contain different types of objects or not?

if there is no data type for lists, I accept the use of the brackets [] as lists {}, otherwise please delete the data type for lists, it would be superfluous

When applied (learning and teaching of mathematics or programming), the use of text strings operate operators (^,*,-,/) ?

3: finally, what is the market which is designed for the HP-Prime?

with the complexity of using everything as a single data type, ( vectors, matrices, list ) ... will be for specialists in computer , not beginning students

think like a student, not as addicted to HP

Hello compsystems,

it is quite annoying that you always repeating:

cite: Original from Compsystems:" finally, what is the market which is designed for the HP-Prime?

with the complexity of using everything as a single data type, ( vectors, matrices, list ) ... will be for specialists in computer , not beginning students

think like a student, not as addicted to HP".

In my experience as a teacher for math: One of the great obstacles for the beginners in math is: the objects in math are different and you have carefully distinct them, because then you know which operations with these objects are allowed or not. Some operations are quite similar (f. e.: addition between numbers or between vectors, but multiplication is quite different).

It is the other way round, what you want the "prime" has to act is comfortable for somebody who is familiar with mathematics.

Explicit: A machine used in math-lessons should be more catholic than the pope!

Greetings
peacecalc
