LCD problem.
#1

My HP48GX has within the last couple of months developed the condition of a darkened ceter of the LCD at start up. Its about the size of a quarter and only lasts for a second. Is the LCD on its way out or possibly pressure damage from soft impression? Whats the life span on these things anyway?

Tod, I have noticed a similar behavior with my screen. I can't tell you the reason, but it hasn't created any problems in the two years it has persisted.
