For you serious HP collectors
#1

FYI…I have a working and comprehensive HP 110 Portable PLUS outfit in the Classifieds. It's taking up space and I would like to sell it to someone who will appreciate it more. I only collect HP scientific calcs.

The HP 110 was my dad's. Several years ago he gave it to my son (now a network systems engineer) to play with, but it was too "old school" to grab my son's attention. My dad doesn't want it back, so there it is. :-)

Thanks in advance for looking.

Is it now OK to advertise in the forum as well as the Classifieds? I thought the Classifieds were created to segregate the advertisements from discussions.

Other members have posted on here about online auctions to give a heads up to the people who frequent this forum. I don't see a problem with letting people know you have an HP calculator for sale. Granted this isn't the classifieds but if posting about online auctions takes place all the time what's wrong with a classifieds mention?

And if posting about online auctions should not take place here what's then?

Did you ever read The Museum of HP Calculators Terms Of Use (Rules)?

This is not meant to be a forum about ebay or other auction/sales sites though they will naturally come up at times.

Also, please limit auction/sales threads to items of broad interest to HP calculator users.

Is it possible to suggest that without being on one?

There is nothing in the Terms of Use that prohibits calling attention to one's ad on this site.

Then, I think, we would need to find us a different forum... Anyway, this is a community thing (a fairly small community that is!) and we really shouldn't be "popier than the pope" as we say in german. As long as the real spam stays away, everything else is fine for me.

In the official document is reads ...ut a die 28 februarii MMXIII, hora 29,... Typo or gotcha? :-)

Hmmmh, seems even the pope isn't error-proof ... although some of his antecessors claimed something different IIRC. Smells like barbecue ...

What are those strange characters on a latin letter?
"19", "28", "29" and "10"???
They should have used XIX, XXVIII, XXIX and X!

Massimo :-)
