I am searching for spare display chips for the classic calculator series, for example HP-65. If I remember correctly Hewlett Packard made them themselves, but it would be helpful to know the exact type number for starting a search?
Thank you!

I probably have a spare one. I can check on the weekend.

The part number is HP 1990-0335. Further information is available here: HP Classic LED Display Information
You need not search the Internet for them, you will not find them as spare parts. Just buy an old HP45 and part it out.

Depends on whether you're talking about the anode driver chip, or the cathode driver chip.
