X-41 on Mac Book
#1

Hello all,

i have installed the HP-41C emulator "X-41" on my Mac Book, but can't manage to use it via the keyboard (of the Mac ;-). Clicking on the keys with the trackpad or even the mouse is that much boring that I finally don't use it.

Help much appreciated!

Kind regards.

Hello!

Just downloaded the current version (1.0): On my PowerBook running Mac OS 10.5.8 it accepts input from the number keys (also from the shifted number keys using Num.lock).

Hello Maximilian,

Danke sehr für deine Antwort.

My laptop is a Mac Book with Mac OS X 10.7.2 (11C74). I would be glad to know wether I am doing something wrong or did not instal the software properly or wether I have no chance to play with X-41, because my laptop is not convenient, which I can't believe.

Kind regards.

Bonjour Jean-Michel,

Français ...

J'ai le même problème sur mon MacBook Pro / OSX 10.7.5.

J'utilise le clavier USB étendu d'Apple.

English ...

I have the same problem on my MBP running OSX 10.7.5.

I am using the Apple extended USB keyboard.

Bonjour Sylvain

Thank you very much for sharing your (bad) experience.
I have no plan to buy an extended keyboard, so I think I will simply remove this software from my laptop, which I regret much.
I wonder what may cause this issue... and why it is not fixed.

Cordialement,

Jean-Michel.

Bonjour Jean-Michel,

For my calculation on OS/X,
I use both the widget version and the standard version of the Free42 simulator.

Cordialement,

Sylvain
