Converting 512K or 1M cards
#1

I have need for 20 to 40 128K memory cards for our HP48GX's
If I am not able to obtain them, is there a way to sever some of the pin connections on a 512K or 1M card to make it operate like a 128K card in slot 1?

I need the 128K cards for their merging capability with
Port :0:.

We run large custom made RPL programs that make calls to local variables and subroutines

I believe you can use a 512K card in the 128K slot and merge it as you intend. You are just wasting the extra ram that is available. The extra lines cannot be addressed and therefore not an issue. Try it with a Card to verify.
