hp50g: installing hpgcc3

Dear All
I'm trying to install hpgcc3 from www.hpgcc3.org
It seems the installation is ok,
Toolchain reports ok
Tools_workspace builds ok
However when building the libs_workspace in eclipse i get many warnings, but no errors.
When I update my 50g with the patched rom (rom2.15 + hpgcc3rev2) it hangs.
Anyone having success with installing hpgcc3?
