Energizer lithium battery update
#1

In this thread from late last year , Consumer Reports had reported that Energizer "Advanced" lithium batteries were better (= took more pictures in a digital camera) than the "Ultimate" lithium batteries.

CR has retested these batteries (p. 43 in the May 2012 issue; they don't say why, but there seemed to be general agreement here that they got something backwards!) and the Ultimate (as is claimed by Energizer) now comes out on top: CR credits it with 1286 shots in a digital camera, compared to 957 for the Advanced.

CR calls these their two top-rated AA batteries. (Not clear if that includes cost or just capacity - I'm too lazy to go back and check the original article!)
