Is it just me, or are these the most hideous basic calculators on the market today?
I thought they were ugly when they were released a few years ago, and can't believe that they're still around. I wonder if this tired line will ever see a makeover.

The 30b has disappeared from their web site.

That makes sense, they seemed to be sold off at very low prices recently. Now they have gone back up.

amazon.com currently lists the 30b for $20.13.

déjà vu?
Same topic recently, and Tim ensured us the 30b (and 10bII+) won't go.

There was a thread on this forum about the missing 33s. Someone speculated that it may be discontinued and Samson Cable promptly jacked up their prices. Last I checked, they have the 33s listed for $99 on Amazon. HP has them back in stock for $39.99.

Samson cables really seems to be a money grubbing (read greedy) organization. While I am all for capitalism, their version of it annoys the heck out of me. I will no longer give them any of my business.
Just my 0.02.

When their prices are low, they have excellent service.
I think they are simply trying to meet markets--like the rest of us. We are all crazy to undercharge-----

Hello Marcelo,
Living in Brazil, I wonder if there is any HP 30b sold here - I mean, new, and perhaps built in our country... but I have never seen such a calc. What do you think about that?

They're all built in China.

Neither do I. But the calc distribution in Brazil is gone many years
ago and has been recovering in recent times, and nevertheless
is based only on the most popular and inexpensive models.
