Hi all.
I tried to build QtGui on linux platform.
But it faild because of link error relayted on libqextserialport.a.
In QtGui/SerialPort.txt, it is discribed that libqextserialport.a is external library.
On Ubuntu 11.10, build is succeeded, but on my linux box(vine linux 5.1), the binary which comes with 'svn update' does not link.
What is the purpose for linking serial library?
And how to configure without linking the serial port functions?
I'm making Japanese page, how to build wp34s.
Please see, if interested.

The calculator has serial communications built in and so has the emulator. The emulator serves as the link to the calculator to send programs and data to the device.

Thanks response.
I succeeded to build local version of libqtextserialport.a and QtGui.
The trunk(2702) works good.
I think that it is better to be selectable serial port function.
Because the cost of building the library does not balance the frequency to be used. To use serial port, hardware hack is needed, such as soldering ADM3202.

No hardware modification is necessary if you use the programming cable that is used to flash an HP 30b to become a 34S.

That is a good function.
