The French TI 84.Pocket.fr
#1

I am in the south of France, and I found the TI 84.pocket.fr. I got a unit. It is part of several French-version TI machines that TI launched last year. The TI 84.pocket.fr is smaller than the TI84 and has no cover. It runs on 4 AAA batteries (included) and has a USE port. The buttons are labeled in French. You can set the menu system on the LCD to be in French or English. The machine is interesting and does a lot of numerical calculations that we come to expect (no CAS support)--matrices, lists, solver. Graphics is fairly fast. So far so good!

Thanks for the pictures. Gives a better idea about size and keys' language.

What's the price of one of these?

I got it for 119.80 euros which is about USD 160. I know that's bit high and you can get the TI Nspire CX CAS for even less in the US.
