Canon's X Mark I Mouse
#1

No = key, no parentheses.

RPN? Adding machine logic?

Here or here.

I'm sure that the Enter key is just a dual purpose "=" and "enter" for use as the computer number pad. The reason I'm sure is that Canon sells a calculator called the X Mark I too, and it has an "=" key.

HP, how about one of these for us RPN fans?

HP has something similar here already, though algebraic :-/ Should be a no-brainer to add the mouse functions ...

HI;

I am not sure if I am reasoning backwards, but... Isn't a mouse designed primarily to slide over a working surface with the smallest movement resistance possible so the user could move it easily? If so, wouldn't this 'mousulator' ('calculouser' sounds weirder to me...) sleep away while the user is trying to press the correct keys? Cannot see a way to make it work reasonably well in both circumstances.

Any thoughts?

Yup, I now, the little thing has not yet reached the sales points and I am already trying to sink it...

Cheers.

If you get a wrong answer, you can always claim you hit the "BS" button by mistake!

Olá Luiz,

You're right, maybe a trackball on this 'mousulator' (I love this word) is a better solution, so the whole device rests stable on the desk.

Cumprimentos,

Walter
