CFA Exam and calculators
#1

I believe the HP 12C is the only HP calculator approved for the CFA exam. Is there any chance the HP 30b will ever be approved to use on the exam?

Don't know. Probably not something HP can really answer either. The group that administers the CFA exam is probably reluctant to change, as many groups are.

On another note, in the past, I was a video review lecturer for a CFA exam review course. Did 2 hours on using the 12c. 3 hours on using the TI BAII Plus.

Did a live session in San Francisco on statistics - inferences and hypotheses testing. Yum. :-)

But, as to your basic question, the answer really is that no one here knows or would be able to predict. Sorry!
